get_a_list_of_possible_timesheet_creators
Read-onlyIdempotent

Retrieve all potential timesheet creators for a given project. Use pagination to control results.

Instructions

Returns a paginated JSON array of Field Productivity records. Use page and per_page to control pagination; the response includes pagination metadata. Required parameters: project_id. Procore API: Project Management > Field Productivity. Endpoint: GET /rest/v1.0/projects/{project_id}/timesheets/potential_timesheet_creators

Input Schema

per_pageNoQuery string parameter — number of items per page (default: 100, max: 100)
Behavior3/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare readOnlyHint=true and destructiveHint=false, covering the safety profile. The description adds that the tool returns a paginated JSON array with metadata, which is useful. It does not describe any other behavioral traits beyond what annotations provide, so the added value is moderate.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The description is relatively short but includes an irrelevant sentence about Field Productivity records that does not belong. The structure front-loads the purpose but then misleads. It could be more concise and accurate.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness2/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

Given the tool's simplicity (3 parameters, no output schema), the description provides core functionality but contains an inaccurate reference to Field Productivity records. It mentions pagination metadata but does not describe return fields, which would be helpful without an output schema. The error reduces completeness.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100%, so the input schema already describes all parameters. The description reiterates that project_id is required and mentions pagination control, but adds little new meaning. Baseline of 3 is appropriate as the description does not significantly compensate beyond the schema.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose3/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description starts by stating it returns potential Timesheet Creators for a project, which is clear. However, the next sentence about fetching Field Productivity records seems mismatched and introduces confusion. The purpose is moderately clear but undermined by this inconsistency.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines2/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

The description does not explicitly state when to use this tool versus alternatives. It mentions pagination parameters but provides no guidance on differentiating from similar tools like 'get_a_list_of_possible_timesheet_creator_ids'. Usage context is minimally implied.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
