calculate_earthquake_energy
Convert an earthquake's magnitude into total released energy, measured in joules and TNT equivalent kilograms. Input a magnitude between 0 and 10 for quick seismic energy calculation.
Instructions
Calculate energy released by an earthquake from its magnitude. Returns: {energy_joules, tnt_equivalent_kg}. See list_bundles for related 'astronomie-nature' calculators.
