lib_set_pin_owner_part
Reassigns pins of a multi-part symbol to a chosen sub-part or Part Zero in the library, preventing duplicate supply pins and merged nets.
Instructions
Reassign pins of a multi-part symbol to a sub-part, or to Part Zero.
owner_part_id=0 is Altium's Part Zero: the pin belongs to
the package as a whole instead of to one sub-part. That is the
documented placement for a multi-part component's supply pins.
A sub-part-owned supply pin is redrawn at every instance origin,
and where the gate pitch is only twice the pin length those
copies land on each other and the netlist merges the two rails.
Changes the library only. Placed instances pick it up on the next Update From Libraries, which produces an ECO.
Args: pin_designators: comma-separated pin numbers, e.g. "3,12". owner_part_id: 0 for Part Zero, or 1..part_count. component_name: library reference of the symbol to edit. Empty falls back to the editor's current component.
Returns: Dictionary with "component", "owner_part_id", the "pins_changed" list and its "count".
