# Fix Documentation Procedure (For ALL Code Fixes)
**CRITICAL**: This procedure should be used for ALL fixes after initial PR submission, not just security fixes. This ensures reviewers can understand any changes in context, which is essential for successful code reviews.
**IMPORTANT**: While originally developed for security fixes, this documentation pattern has proven so effective that it should be applied to:
- Security fixes
- Bug fixes
- Performance improvements
- Refactoring changes
- Feature additions
- Any code changes made after initial PR submission
## The Golden Rule
**Every fix MUST have inline comments that explain:**
1. What the problem/issue was
2. How you fixed it
3. Why the fix improves the code (security, performance, correctness, etc.)
4. Before/after examples when helpful
## Step-by-Step Procedure
### 1. Identify All Security Issues

## Remember
- Every fix needs a comment (not just security fixes)
- Comments should be near the actual fix
- For security: Include severity level (CRITICAL/HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW)
- For bugs: Reference issue numbers
- For performance: Include measurements if available
- For refactoring: Explain the improvement
- Always explain the "why" not just the "what"
