Account AgentBots: Create an Agent Bot

gapify_create_agent_bot

Create a Gapify agent bot with a name, description, and outgoing webhook URL to automate customer support tasks.

Instructions

Create an agent bot in the account [Account AgentBots] POST /api/v1/accounts/{account_id}/agent_bots Auth: User API key (header api-access-token). Body fields: name, description, outgoing_url. Extra fields can be passed via extra_body. Text values may be written in Persian (Farsi) or any other language and are sent unchanged; IDs, numbers and phone numbers may use Persian or Arabic-Indic digits.

Input Schema

TDQS

A3.5/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare the write/idempotency/open-world profile, but the description adds genuinely useful behavioral context: the required auth header, the exact endpoint, the extra_body merge escape hatch, and that non-Latin text and Persian/Arabic-Indic digits are passed through unchanged. That goes meaningfully beyond the structured fields.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with the purpose, then endpoint, auth, body fields and edge-case note in a tight block. No filler sentences, though the line-broken spec-style formatting is slightly dense.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a create tool with no output schema, the definition covers auth, endpoint, body fields, the extra_body escape hatch and text/digit handling — enough to call it correctly. It stops short of stating what is returned or whether the new bot id is needed downstream.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100%, so name, account_id, description, outgoing_url and extra_body are already documented at baseline 3. The description reiterates the three body fields and clarifies how extra_body works, but adds no format or constraint detail the schema lacks.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description states a specific verb and resource ('Create an agent bot in the account') and scopes it by HTTP endpoint, so the action is unambiguous. However it offers no differentiation from the near-duplicate sibling gapify_platform_create_agent_bot, leaving the agent to guess which create tool to pick.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines2/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It provides context ('Account AgentBots', endpoint path) but never says when to choose this tool over alternatives, nor any exclusions or prerequisites beyond the auth line. With a nearly identical sibling creator present, the absence of routing guidance is a real gap.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
