script.processes.listScriptProcesses

Lists a script's executed processes with their type and status, and supports filtering by status, type, function, time range, user access and deployment.

Instructions

List information about a script's executed processes, such as process type and current status [HTTP GET]. Returns the requested resource as JSON — request bodies are built from the typed parameters (typed flags win over the params map), or read whole from body_file Siblings over the same resource: list.

Input Schema

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
queryNoExtra KEY=VALUE query pairs for endpoints whose parameters Discovery does not describe.
paramsNoParameter map merged into the request; typed parameters win.
dry_runNoReturn the request that would be sent, without sending it.
pageSizeNo[query parameter] The maximum number of returned processes per page of results. Defaults to 50.
scriptIdNo[query parameter] The script ID of the project whose processes are listed.
body_fileNoRead the request body from this file ('-' for stdin) instead of building one from the parameters.
pageTokenNo[query parameter] The token for continuing a previous list request on the next page. This should be set to the value of `nextPageToken` from a previous response.
scriptProcessFilter.typesNo
scriptProcessFilter.endTimeNo[query parameter] Optional field used to limit returned processes to those that completed on or before the given timestamp.
scriptProcessFilter.statusesNo
scriptProcessFilter.startTimeNo[query parameter] Optional field used to limit returned processes to those that were started on or after the given timestamp.
scriptProcessFilter.deploymentIdNo[query parameter] Optional field used to limit returned processes to those originating from projects with a specific deployment ID.
scriptProcessFilter.functionNameNo[query parameter] Optional field used to limit returned processes to those originating from a script function with the given function name.
scriptProcessFilter.userAccessLevelsNo

TDQS

B3.1/5.0
Behavior3/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

With no annotations, the description does carry some weight: it declares the HTTP GET verb, that the result is JSON, and how the request is assembled (typed flags override the `params` map, or `body_file` supplies the whole body). However, it says nothing about authorization requirements or pagination limits (page size defaults only appear in the schema), and the body-construction boilerplate is odd for a GET, which weakens rather than clarifies the behavioral picture.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

It is short and front-loads the purpose, which is good. But the second half is generic transport boilerplate (body_file, params merging) irrelevant to a GET listing call, and the dangling 'Siblings over the same resource: list.' sentence reads as truncated scaffolding rather than useful text.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness3/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

An output schema exists, so return values need no explanation, and the filter/pagination parameters are fully specified in the schema. What is missing for a 14-parameter, nested-object tool with no annotations is any mention that `scriptId` is required in practice, plus any note on permissions or expected filtering patterns.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is high (79%) and every one of the 14 parameters, including the filter sub-fields and enums, is documented in the schema, so the baseline applies. The description only restates precedence rules already present in the `params` description and adds no meaning to `scriptProcessFilter.*`, `pageToken`, or the fact that `scriptId` is effectively mandatory despite nothing being marked required.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The first clause gives a specific verb and resource: 'List information about a script's executed processes, such as process type and current status.' The trailing 'Siblings over the same resource: list.' gestures at script.processes.list but never names it or explains the distinction, so the sibling split is only implied.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines2/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

There is no statement of when to choose this over script.processes.list, script.projects.getMetrics, or script.scripts.run. The fragment 'Siblings over the same resource: list.' tells the agent a near-duplicate exists but gives no condition that selects one over the other.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
