これは既存のリーダーMCP(tableau-public)の対になるもので、そちらは公開済みコンテンツの検査を行います。リーダーは何も作成・公開できません。このサーバーは公開プロフィールを閲覧できません。両方をインストールしたままにしてください。


生成されるもの

以下のスクリーンショットはすべて、このサーバーがJSON仕様から生成し、Tableau Public 2026.2.0で開いて撮影したワークブックです。手作業での作成は一切なく、スクリーンショット撮影前にTableau内で何かを操作したこともありません。データはtests/fixtures/data/にある合成の12行フィクスチャです。

注意して読むべき2つの主張

  • .twbxはバイト単位で再現可能ではありません。 内部の.twbは再現可能です - 同一の仕様なら同一のバイト列になります。アーカイブは再現不可能です。埋め込まれた.hyperがTableauのHyperエンジンによって書き込まれ、非決定的な内部状態を持つためです。差分を取るのは.twbであり、パッケージのダイジェストではありません。docs/LIMITATIONS.md §1を参照してください。

すべてを形作る2つの制約

  1. Tableau Publicには公開APIがありません。 REST APIはServer/Cloudのみを対象としているため、公開は実際のUIを通じて行われます。TableauはこのコマンドをServer > Tableau Public > Save to Tableau Publicとして文書化していますが、これはDesktop Professionalの経路です。Publicエディション(2026.2.0)では、ServerメニューにはRun Optimizer...しかなく、コマンドはFileメニューにあります。これは実際のCommand+Shift+Sキーイベントで呼び出され、Fileメニューがフォールバックになります - docs/PUBLISHING_WORKFLOW.mdを参照してください。

  2. Tableau Publicは抽出以外のデータソースを拒否しますError Code: 3C242D89)。そのため、すべてのCSVはビルド時にHyper抽出に変換されます。

macOSの権限は実行可能ファイルごとに付与されます。したがって、doctorが出力するインタープリターに付与してください - Tableauではなく、別のターミナルを登録する場合はそのターミナルでもありません。詳細はdocs/MACOS_PERMISSIONS.mdにあります。

なぜこのような設計なのか

公開

publish_to_tableau_publicは破壊的とマークされており、confirm_publish: trueprofile(あなたのTableau Publicプロフィール名)の両方が必要です。overwriteのデフォルトはfalseです。profileが必要なのは、これがないとサーバーがその名前のワークブックがすでに公開されているかを確認できず、Tableau Publicは同名のワークブックをバージョン履歴なしで不可逆的に置き換えるためです。
