# Test Improvements Summary
## Overview
The test suite for the session-buddy project has been significantly improved with the following additions:
## 1. Property-Based Tests
- Added comprehensive property-based tests using Hypothesis in `tests/unit/test_utilities_property_based.py`
- Tests for reflection storage and retrieval properties
- Tests for similarity search behavior
- Tests for embedding generation consistency
- Tests for database operations with various inputs
## 2. Performance and Benchmarking Tests
- Created `tests/performance/test_performance_benchmarks.py`
- Added benchmarks for reflection storage performance
- Added performance tests for similarity search with various dataset sizes
- Added tests for large dataset performance (up to 500 reflections)
- Added concurrent operations performance tests
- Added basic memory usage stability tests
## 3. Edge Case and Error Condition Tests
- Created `tests/unit/test_session_manager_edge_cases.py`
- Tests for empty and nonexistent directories
- Tests for permission errors and restricted access
- Tests for malformed project files
- Tests for missing dependencies (like UV package manager)
