## Overview
Following the completion of Week 5 testing (79 new tests, 266 total tests, 63.69% average coverage), Week 6 focuses on addressing critical architecture and quality issues identified by 5 specialist agent reviews.

## Day 1 Accomplishments
### 1. ✅ Fixed DI Container Environment Variable Handling
**Issue:** `configure()` used `Path.home()` which doesn't respect `HOME` environment variable in tests.
**Fix:** Updated `session_buddy/di/__init__.py` to use `os.path.expanduser("~")` for environment-aware path resolution.
**Files Changed:**
- `session_buddy/di/__init__.py` (3 locations)
**Test Impact:**
- Fixed `test_configure_registers_singletons` (DI container tests)
- Fixed `test_reset_restores_default_instances`
- 2/2 DI container tests now passing
**Code Changes:**

### 2. ✅ Fixed Placeholder Assertion
**Issue:** Code reviewer identified placeholder assertion in `test_cache_invalidation_on_create`.
**Root Cause:** Test misunderstood implementation - `create_project_group()` **populates** cache, doesn't invalidate it.
**Fix:**
- Renamed test to `test_cache_population_on_create`
- Added proper assertions verifying cache population
- Verified cache contains new group after creation
**Files Changed:**
- `tests/unit/test_multi_project_coordinator.py`
**Test Result:** ✅ 1 passed

- **Status**: Uses `os.path.expanduser()` instead of `Path.home()`
**✅ Placeholder Assertion Fix**
- Fixed 1 test in `test_multi_project_coordinator.py`
- **Status**: Proper cache verification instead of placeholder
**✅ Authentication/Authorization Security Tests (Critical)**
- Created `tests/unit/test_session_permissions.py` with 27 comprehensive tests
- **Status**: 100% pass rate, addresses security auditor's 6.5/10 score

## Technical Insights
### Insight 1: Environment-Aware Path Resolution
`Path.home()` is evaluated at call time and doesn't respect environment variable changes (like pytest's `monkeypatch.setenv("HOME", ...)`). For test-friendly code, always use:

### Insight 2: Cache Behavior Understanding
When writing tests, **read the implementation** to understand actual behavior rather than assuming common patterns. The "cache invalidation" test assumed clearing, but the code actually populates the cache for quick lookups.
### Insight 3: Singleton Reset Ordering
For singleton patterns with DI, the reset order matters:
