# README Restructure Proposal
This document outlines a suggested plan to reorganize and enhance the `README.md` for **PRD Creator MCP Server**, in alignment with best practices observed in popular MCP Server projects.
## 1. Header & Badges
- Project title and short description
- Status badges (Build, npm version, coverage, license, issues)
- Optional: GitHub stars, Twitter follow, sponsorship
## 2. Quick Start
- Single code snippet to launch via `npx` or global install
- Docker pull & run example
- Pointer to `--help`
## 3. Installation
- Steps for cloning, installing dependencies, building, and running
- CLI flags and local development command (`npm run dev`)
## 4. Feature Highlights
- Brief bullet list of core capabilities (PRD generation, validation, templates, multi-provider)
- One-sentence description of each core feature
## 5. Integrations
- JSON code blocks showing how to configure common MCP clients:
- Claude Desktop (`claude_desktop_config.json`)
- Cursor
- Glama.ai
- Roo Code (`.roo/mcp.json`)
- Cline / Zed / other popular clients
## 6. API Reference / Tools
- Table or subsection per tool:
- **Tool name** (e.g. `generate_prd`)
- Description
- Input schema (fields, types)
- Example request + example response snippet
## 7. Configuration & Hot-Reload
- Environment variable usage (`.env`, `.env.example`)
- How to use the `update_provider_config` tool at runtime
- Overriding via protocol tools vs. `.env`
