"Tools or methods for organizing Org files and Org-roam nodes based on content" matching MCP tools:

  • Context lookup: Resolve an IPv4 or IPv6 address to its geolocation, ASN, org name, and city/country. Use when you need network or location context for a raw IP address; prefer dns_lookup or dossier_dns for hostname resolution. Queries ipinfo.io with a server-side token — the token is never exposed to callers. Returns a JSON object with fields ip, city, region, country, org, loc, and timezone. On failure, returns an error string describing what went wrong.

  • Move the caller's org to Pro ($19/mo flat, 10 agents, 20 members, 200 workspaces, 5k rows per workspace) or Scale ($49/mo flat, 30 agents, 60 members, 1,000 workspaces, 50k rows per workspace). The bill doesn't change as you add agents. If the org has no card on file, returns a Stripe Checkout URL for the human. If a card exists, a live plan switch (Pro ↔ Scale) is consent-gated. Two consent surfaces, you pick via `mode`: (1) `chat` (default): FIRST call returns { status: 'confirmation_required', confirm_token, message, expires_in }; surface the message to your user and re-call within 60s with `confirm_token` set. (2) `web`: FIRST call returns { status: 'approval_required', approval_url, polling_url, expires_at }; print the approval_url in chat for your user to click and approve in their browser, then poll `polling_url` for the result. No-card and same-plan paths execute on the first call (no money changes hands).

  • Search for electronic components by part number, description, or keyword. Start here — this is the best entry point for finding components. Queries all configured providers in parallel. Results are merged by MPN with indicative pricing and stock from each source. Each result includes datasheet_status so you know which parts have datasheets available for read_datasheet. Best with specific part numbers or keywords (e.g. 'STM32F103', 'buck converter 3A'). For spec-based discovery in natural language, use search_datasheets instead. When the calling org has a private parts library, matching org-uploaded parts are appended to the results with source='private_library' and any tags the team has applied — including private parts whose MPN, manufacturer, description, type, category, or tag matches the query. DATASHEET STATUS VALUES: - 'ready' — extracted and indexed; call read_datasheet, search_datasheets, or analyze_image. - 'extracting' / 'in_progress' / 'queued' / 'pending' — extraction running or scheduled. Poll check_extraction_status every 5-10s until 'ready' or 'failed'. Typical time: 30s-2min. - 'not_extracted' — known part but datasheet hasn't been fetched yet. Trigger it via prefetch_datasheets (cheapest) or by calling read_datasheet (auto-triggers on first read). - 'no_source' — we couldn't find a public datasheet URL for this MPN. First, retry prefetch_datasheets in 10-30s (the URL resolver re-runs and often finds a source on the second pass). If still 'no_source', the agent can upload the PDF manually via request_datasheet_upload + confirm_datasheet_upload (see those tools). Org-uploaded datasheets are private to the org. - 'unsupported' — PDF exists but can't be extracted (scanned image-only, encrypted, or corrupted). Upload a clean text-based PDF via request_datasheet_upload to override. - 'failed' / 'error' — extraction errored. The response includes the error reason. Retry via prefetch_datasheets or escalate to support. - 'rejected' — input wasn't a real MPN (bare value like '100nF', description, or reference designator). Fix the input and re-call. - 'deduplicated' — another part in the family already has this datasheet; same content is returned under the primary MPN.

  • Get information about the organization your agent is linked to. WHEN TO USE - You want to know which organization your agent is operating under. - You need to list the members of your linked org (e.g., to decide which member should review a deliverable). WHEN NOT TO USE - To create, update, or delete organizations — those actions require human authentication via the REST API (POST /api/v1/organizations, PATCH /api/v1/organizations/{slug}, etc.). BEHAVIOR - Read-only. Auth required: agent API key. Rate-limited to 60 req/min. - Returns an error if your agent is not linked to any organization (agents.org_id IS NULL). - action='get_my_org': returns org name, slug, tier, owner, and member count. - action='list_members': returns human_id and role for each member. WORKFLOW - Check your org membership before referencing org context in deliverables or communications. - To link your agent to an org, a human admin must call POST /api/v1/organizations/{slug}/agents.

  • Current & trending AI MODELS from the open-model ecosystem (Hugging Face) — name, org, task, popularity (likes/downloads) and release date. Use for "what AI models are trending / newest / what's the latest <X> model". This is the OPEN side (Llama, Qwen, DeepSeek, Mistral, Gemma, Phi…); for the closed flagships (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok) with pricing & versions use search_ai_models. Args: query: search a model name (e.g. llama, qwen, whisper). org: filter by org/author (e.g. meta-llama, deepseek-ai, Qwen, mistralai, google). task: text-generation (default), text-to-image, automatic-speech-recognition, … or 'any'. sort: trending (default) | newest | downloads. limit: max results. Every value is returned in an Ed25519-signed, provenance-stamped envelope (source and observation time) you can verify offline against /.well-known/keys, no account required.

  • Check the extraction status of one or more parts. Free. Each entry includes the current extraction step, elapsed seconds, and document ID. Use after prefetch_datasheets or after read_datasheet triggers a new extraction. Recommended polling cadence: every 5-10 seconds. Extraction typically takes 30s-2min for new parts, so polling faster than every 5s wastes calls. Stop polling once status is 'ready', 'failed', 'no_source', or 'unsupported'. DATASHEET STATUS VALUES: - 'ready' — extracted and indexed; call read_datasheet, search_datasheets, or analyze_image. - 'extracting' / 'in_progress' / 'queued' / 'pending' — extraction running or scheduled. • Unified search across the registry and release content. Returns up to four sections — organizations, catalog entries (products + standalone sources folded into one list), curated collections (cross-org playlists), and releases with CHANGELOG chunks interleaved by relevance. Use `type` to narrow the surfaces you want and skip the expensive paths. For example, pass `type: ['catalog']` to look up a known entity by name (fast, registry-only); pass `type: ['releases']` when you only care about release content and want to avoid entity lookups. Omit `type` to search all four. Collections surface via two paths: a direct match on the collection's name/description (lexical in every mode, plus a vector match in hybrid/semantic mode) and a member rollup that includes every collection containing one of the matched orgs. Member rollups carry a list of result-set org slugs that triggered the rollup so a UI can render an "includes X" hint. Use `entity` (product slug / prod_ id OR source slug / src_ id) to scope release results to one catalog entry. Product identifiers expand to every source under the product. Use `organization` to scope to a whole org. Release retrieval defaults to hybrid (FTS5 + semantic vectors fused via RRF); it silently degrades to lexical when vector infra is unavailable and flags the result.

  • Trigger background datasheet extraction for multiple parts at once (up to 20). Non-blocking — returns immediately with the status of each part. Use this to warm up datasheets for a BOM before calling read_datasheet. Example: prefetch_datasheets(['TPS54302', 'ADS1115', 'LP5907']) If a part comes back 'no_source' on the first call, retry prefetch for that MPN once after 10-30s — the URL resolver is retriable and often finds a source on the second pass. If still 'no_source', use request_datasheet_upload + confirm_datasheet_upload to attach your own PDF (org-private). Part numbers must be specific MPNs (e.g. 'STM32F446RCT6', 'TPS54302DDCR') or LCSC numbers (e.g. 'C2837938'). Do NOT pass bare values ('100nF', '10K'), descriptions, BOM reference designators, test points, or board/module names — see the server instructions for the full rule set. When a BOM has values-only rows, use search_parts first to resolve each to an MPN. DATASHEET STATUS VALUES: - 'ready' — extracted and indexed; call read_datasheet, search_datasheets, or analyze_image. - 'extracting' / 'in_progress' / 'queued' / 'pending' — extraction running or scheduled. Poll check_extraction_status every 5-10s until 'ready' or 'failed'. Typical time: 30s-2min. - 'not_extracted' — known part but datasheet hasn't been fetched yet. • Remove a workspace member. Editor role required; owner-tier removals require an owner caller. Sole-owner removal is blocked; promote someone else first. Note: if the workspace visibility is `org`, removing an explicit member of the same org leaves them with virtual editor access via the org-membership branch. Consent-gated for agents: the FIRST call returns { status: 'confirmation_required', confirm_token, message, expires_in }. Surface the message to your user and, if they say yes, re-call this tool within 60s with `confirm_token` set to the same token. User callers (cookie session) skip the consent step.

  • Create a new workspace in the caller's org. Works for both user and agent callers; agent-created workspaces attribute to the agent and enroll the agent's owning user as a co-owner so the human sees it in their dashboard. The new workspace is seeded with one primary surface matching `mode`: `doc` → a Notes tab (for prose), `table` → a Sheet tab (for records), `html` → a Mockup tab (sandboxed HTML preview). Decide the surface before you create: prose (briefs, notes, summaries, drafts) → `doc`; records with shared columns (tasks, leads, rows) → `table`. If you omit `mode`, pass `initial_markdown` to signal a `doc`; with neither `mode` nor `initial_markdown`, an agent caller gets a guided error asking it to choose `doc` or `table` (so you never silently land on the wrong surface). An explicit `mode` is always honored. `html` is only picked when explicitly requested. Add more tabs of any kind later via `create_surface`. Agent-created workspaces default to org-visibility so sibling agents in the same org aren't 403'd. For prose content (briefs, summaries, changelogs) pass `initial_markdown` to seed the doc body in one call; the markdown is converted server-side, no need to hand-build ProseMirror JSON.

  • Resolve a domain to the org or product that owns it. The domain is normalized first (scheme, `www.`, path, and trailing slash stripped, lowercased), so `https://vercel.com/about` and `vercel.com` both look up the same row. Returns the matching org (with primary-vs-alias distinction) and any products whose alias targets the same domain. Pure resolution — does not probe the domain or materialize anything; unknown domains surface a 'no match' message. Use `lookup_domain` when you have a URL-shaped input; use `get_organization` when you already have a slug or id.
