# Real F23b Integration Test Results

**Tester**: Real API testing (no mocks)

## Executive Summary
**CRITICAL BUGS DISCOVERED** through real API testing that mock tests completely missed:
### Bug 1: Wrong API Endpoint
- **Implementation**: `/api/v1/apps/install` (line 764, cloudron-client.ts)
- **Actual Cloudron API**: `/api/v1/apps` (confirmed via successful install)
- **Impact**: Tool will FAIL on every install attempt
### Bug 2: Missing Required Parameter `domain`
- **Implementation**: Only sends `location` (renamed to `subdomain` in body)
- **Actual Cloudron API**: Requires both `subdomain` AND `domain`
- **Impact**: API returns "domain is required" error
### Bug 3: Missing Required Parameter `accessRestriction`
- **Implementation**: Optional parameter
- **Actual Cloudron API**: REQUIRED parameter (can be null)
- **Impact**: API returns "accessRestriction is required" error
### Bug 4: Parameter Name Mismatch
- **Implementation**: Uses `location` in InstallAppParams interface
- **Actual Cloudron API**: Expects `subdomain`
- **Status**: Code correctly transforms this (line 757-758), but interface is misleading
## Test Execution Details
### Test 1: API Connection (F01)

**Result**: ❌ FAILED - Endpoint does not exist (404 Not Found)
**Note**: F23a uses wrong endpoint for validation

**Result**: ✅ SUCCESS

## What Mock Tests Missed
Mock tests validated:
- ✅ Type signatures
- ✅ Error handling logic
- ✅ Parameter transformation
Mock tests DID NOT validate:
- ❌ Actual API endpoint paths
- ❌ Required vs optional parameters (Cloudron's expectations)
- ❌ Complete parameter set needed for success
- ❌ Response format from real Cloudron instance
## Required Fixes
1. **Fix endpoint**: Change `/api/v1/apps/install` → `/api/v1/apps`
2. **Add domain parameter**: Make `domain` required in InstallAppParams
3. **Make accessRestriction required**: Change from optional to required (nullable)
4. **Update interface**: Rename `location` → `subdomain` for clarity
5. **Fix F23a validation**: Correct manifest validation endpoint

## Verification
All findings verified through:
1. Real API calls to production Cloudron instance
2. Actual task creation (Task ID 2737)
3. Installation progress tracking
4. No mocks, no simulations, no assumptions
## Conclusion
**F23b mock tests provided ZERO value** - they validated the wrong endpoint, wrong parameters, and wrong requirements. Only real integration testing revealed the actual bugs.
**Recommendation**:
1. Fix bugs immediately (endpoint + parameters)
2. Delete mock tests (worse than useless)
3. Implement real integration test suite
4. Require real API testing before claiming any tool "works"
