# Operating Model
Get to know the operating model for Edge Integration Cell.
Edge Integration Cell has been developed with the knowledge that specific processes and tasks fall under the responsibility of the customer. The operating model for cloud components that are part of the SAP Integration Suite, and have therefore been extended to support Edge Integration Cell, remain unchanged.
The following table contains operating processes and tasks that are performed by the customer:
