sealmetrics-mcp is no longer maintained. It targets the legacy Sealmetrics v1 API (app.sealmetrics.com) and exposes 8 tools.

The supported server exposes 49 tools against the current API:

Sealmetrics MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects AI assistants like Claude to your Sealmetrics analytics data. Query traffic, conversions, and marketing performance using natural language.

Installation

Install the package using pipx (recommended) or pip:

Claude Desktop Configuration

Add to your Claude Desktop configuration file:

Option A: Using pipx (Recommended)

If you installed with pipx, the executable is at ~/.local/bin/sealmetrics-mcp:

After Configuration

1. Save the configuration file

2. Restart Claude Desktop completely (Cmd+Q on macOS, then reopen)

3. The Sealmetrics tools should appear in Claude's available tools

Troubleshooting

If the MCP server disconnects:

1. Verify the executable path exists:

   ls -la ~/.local/bin/sealmetrics-mcp

2. Test the server manually:

   SEALMETRICS_API_TOKEN="your-token" ~/.local/bin/sealmetrics-mcp

   You should see: Starting Sealmetrics MCP server

3. Check Claude Desktop logs:

4. Common issues:

   • Path to executable is incorrect

   • API token is invalid or expired

   • Missing environment variables

   • Claude Desktop not fully restarted

Getting Your API Token

1. Log in to your Sealmetrics dashboard

2. Go to Settings → API

3. Generate a new API token

4. Copy the token to your Claude Desktop configuration
