Importar Formulacion de Productos (kits)

siigo_pushkit
Destructive

Import product kits (formulations) from an Excel file into SIIGO Pyme using the PUSHKIT function. Results are saved in the company's TEMP folder.

Instructions

Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

The description adds meaningful behavioral context beyond the annotations by disclosing that the import result is placed in the company's TEMP folder. It also clarifies that the input is an .xlsx file. While it does not detail error handling or overwrite behavior, the destructiveHint annotation already covers destructive risk, so this is a solid contribution.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness5/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The description is two sentences long, front-loading the purpose and following with the output location. Every word earns its place, with no redundant or vague phrasing.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a mutation tool with an 8-parameter schema and destructive annotation, the description provides the essential purpose and the critical output location. It could elaborate on potential side effects or required file format constraints beyond .xlsx, but the rich schema and annotation cover much of the context, leaving minimal gaps.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

The input schema provides descriptions for all 8 parameters (100% coverage), including defaults, allowed enums, and examples. The description adds no extra per-parameter semantics beyond what the schema already details, so the baseline of 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description uses the specific verb 'Importar' and the resource 'Formulacion de Productos (kits)', explicitly naming the SIIGO PUSHKIT function. This clearly distinguishes it from sibling tools like siigo_pushmov or siigo_getkit by indicating it imports product formulations from an .xlsx file.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

The description implies usage by stating it imports product formulations from a .xlsx file, but it does not explicitly compare with alternative tools or state when to use this tool versus other push/get siblings. It lacks exclusions or alternative-recommendation language.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
