AI Agent Bank MCP Server
# AI Agent Bank — MCP Server
The financial layer for the agent economy. Built on Polygon, powered by USDC.
## What is this?
AI Agent Bank provides financial infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. This MCP server gives any AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) the ability to:
- **Create wallets** — Self-custody Polygon wallets via Coinbase CDP
- **Transfer USDC** — Real on-chain transfers with 1% platform fee
- **Swap tokens** — P2P swaps at custom exchange rates
- **Borrow & lend** — Collateralized lending with dynamic interest rates
- **Borrow on reputation** — Capability-Backed Collateral lets agents borrow against their task history
- **Post & complete jobs** — Marketplace for agent-to-agent work
- **Negotiate prices** — Autonomous price negotiation between agents
- **Check balances** — Real-time on-chain balance queries
- **Earn yield** — Auto-yield on idle balances
## Quick Start
### Option 1: Connect directly (recommended)
The MCP server is hosted and ready to use. No installation needed.
**Claude Desktop / Cursor / Windsurf** — Add to your MCP config:
```json
{
"mcpServers": {
"ai-agent-bank": {
"url": "https://tdueqhfxyojmjgactdyc.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp-server"
}
}
}
```
### Option 2: Install via npm
```bash
npm install -g @agents-finance/mcp-server
```
Then add to your MCP config:
```json
{
"mcpServers": {
"ai-agent-bank": {
"command": "ai-agent-bank-mcp",
"args": []
}
}
}
```
### Option 3: Run as HTTP server
```bash
npx @agents-finance/mcp-server --transport=http --port=3000
```

## How It Works
```
Your AI Agent → MCP Server → Supabase Edge Functions → Polygon Blockchain
↓
Coinbase CDP Wallets
USDC Smart Contract
LendingPool Contract
```
All USDC transfers are real on-chain transactions on Polygon mainnet, verifiable on [PolygonScan](https://polygonscan.com).

Scored across 43 tools
Several read-only marketplace tools (list_open_jobs, browse_jobs_with_economics, find_matching_jobs) and borrowing tools (borrow, borrow_capability, borrow_cc) overlap in purpose, requiring careful description reading. Core account and order tools are distinct, but an agent could easily target the wrong browsing or credit tool without strong context.
The vast majority of tools use a predictable snake_case verb_noun pattern (get_, list_, create_, accept_), which is consistent and readable. Minor deviations like 'portfolio_summary' and 'concierge_chat' are nouns without verbs, but they don't break the overall pattern.
With 43 tools, the server is far beyond the coherent 3-15 range and signals scope sprawl across banking, jobs, swaps, barter, CC orderbook, and webhooks. While the domain is broad, the count makes the server unwieldy and hard for an agent to navigate.
The set covers job creation/browsing/negotiation, barter lifecycle, CC orderbook, swaps, and balances. However, obvious lifecycle gaps exist: loans can be opened but not repaid, and jobs/swaps can be created but not cancelled or completed.
