Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives an example query ("weather under a cent returns JSON") and a hint that door=agent means no human step, which implies usage context. However, there is no explicit when-to-use/when-not guidance and no routing against the many sibling find_* tools, so the agent must infer scope.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
