# Creating a Desktop Shortcut ## Option 1: Drag and Drop (Easiest) 1. Navigate to this folder in File Explorer 2. Find **START.bat** 3. Right-click and drag **START.bat** to your Desktop 4. Choose "Create shortcuts here" ## Option 2: Send To Desktop 1. Right-click **START.bat** 2. Choose **Send to** → **Desktop (create shortcut)** ## Option 3: Manual Creation 1. Right-click on your Desktop 2. Choose **New** → **Shortcut** 3. Browse to: `C:\Users\Rich\OneDrive\Projects\Quoting\START.bat` 4. Name it: "MCP Quoting System" 5. Click **Finish** ## Customize the Icon (Optional) 1. Right-click the desktop shortcut 2. Choose **Properties** 3. Click **Change Icon** 4. Select an icon you like (or browse for a custom .ico file) 5. Click **OK** ## Pin to Taskbar (Optional) 1. Create desktop shortcut first (see above) 2. Right-click the desktop shortcut 3. Choose **Pin to taskbar** 4. Now you can launch from taskbar! --- ## Result You'll have a one-click launcher for your MCP Quoting System! 🚀 Just double-click the shortcut anytime to open the main menu.
