# Logs It can be vital to understand what is happening in Serena, especially when something goes wrong. Additionally, logs are persisted in the Serena home directory, which, by default, is located at * `%USERPROFILE%\.serena\logs` on Windows * `~/.serena/logs` on Linux and macOS.
