## Overview
Implemented comprehensive context window protection for the Hostaway MCP Server to prevent Claude context overflow and optimize token usage through automatic pagination, summarization, and configurable token budgets.

## Architecture Highlights
### 1. Cursor-Based Pagination
**Design:**
- Opaque cursor tokens with HMAC-SHA256 signatures
- 10-minute TTL prevents replay attacks
- In-memory storage with automatic cleanup
- Base64-encoded, ~100 bytes per cursor

## Security Features
1. **Cursor Signing**: HMAC-SHA256 prevents tampering
2. **TTL Enforcement**: 10-minute expiration prevents replay
3. **Signature Verification**: Constant-time comparison
4. **Rate Limiting**: Inherits from existing middleware
## Bug Fixes During Testing
### Health Endpoint KeyError (Fixed)
**Issue**: Server startup failure - health endpoint throwing `KeyError: 'uptime_seconds'`
**Root Cause**: The `TelemetryService.get_metrics()` method returned `uptime_seconds` when telemetry records existed, but not when the records list was empty (during fresh server startup).
**Fix**: Updated `src/services/telemetry_service.py` line 132 to include `uptime_seconds` in the empty records response.
