# Non-Core Files with Hardcoded Paths ## Summary There are 26 files with hardcoded paths remaining after the main migration. These files are **NOT** part of the core MCP functionality and the system works perfectly without fixing them. ## File Categories ### 1. Benchmarks (3 files) - Root Owned Performance testing scripts that are not required for MCP operation: - `benchmarks/indexing_speed_benchmark.py` - `benchmarks/semantic_search_benchmark.py` - `benchmarks/symbol_lookup_benchmark.py` **Purpose**: Performance testing only **Impact if not fixed**: None - benchmarks can be run manually when needed ### 2. Examples (2 files) - User Owned Demo code showing how to use MCP: - `examples/demo_reranking_working.py` - `examples/java_plugin_demo.py` **Purpose**: Documentation and examples **Impact if not fixed**: None - examples are for reference only ### 3. The main MCP functionality (211 files) has been successfully migrated to use portable paths. If you need to run benchmarks, tests, or examples in a different environment, you can fix them on-demand using the provided script.
