## Problems Encountered & Solutions
### Problem 1: Parameter Passing Architecture Mismatches
#### The Problem
Tool handlers in `src/mcp/tools/` were passing raw kwargs directly to service functions that expected Pydantic models.
**Example - Before (Broken):**

### Problem 2: MCP Tool Schema Mismatches
#### The Problem
MCP tool schemas in `src/mcp/mcp_stdio_server_v3.py` didn't match actual handler signatures, missing critical parameters.
**Missing Parameters:**
- `search_code`: Missing `repository_id`, `file_type`, `directory`
- `update_task`: Missing `branch`, `commit`, `planning_references`
- `create_task`: Missing `planning_references`
**Wrong Enum Values:**

### Problem 3: PostgreSQL Timezone/DateTime Compatibility
#### The Problem
**Mixed timezone-aware and timezone-naive datetime objects caused runtime errors:**

#### The Solution
**Changed ALL datetime generation to timezone-naive UTC:**

- All timestamps stored as UTC in PostgreSQL

### Problem 4: Binary File Handling in Scanner
#### The Problem
**Scanner tried to read binary files as UTF-8 text:**
