Scored across 40 tools
Multiple tools overlap in purpose: 'ai_visibility_check' and 'scan_competitor_ai_presence' are nearly identical (the latter just wraps the former). 'ask_pipeworx', 'ask_pipeworx_beta', 'ask_pipeworx_grounded', and 'deep_research' all handle question answering/research with subtle differences. 'remember', 'recall', and 'forget' are a clear trio but 'recent_alerts', 'list_subscriptions', and 'subscribe' also overlap in lifecycle management. Some tools have clearly distinct domains (IDB, Polymarket, entity profiles) but the meta-tools blur boundaries.
Naming is mostly snake_case with verb_noun patterns (e.g., 'search_notices', 'get_notice', 'compare_entities'), but there's inconsistency: 'idb_check_mdb_debarment' uses a noun-heavy name, 'scan_competitor_ai_presence' and 'scan_dependency' are verbose, and 'polymarket_*' tools use domain-specific prefixes. Some tools like 'entity_profile' and 'company_facts' are noun-based without verbs, breaking the verb_noun consistency.
With 40 tools, the server is heavily overloaded. Many are meta-tools (routing, discovery, subscriptions, feedback) that could be consolidated or removed. The IDB-specific tools (5) and Polymarket-specific tools (8) each form coherent subdomains, but mixing them into one server with general-purpose data tools creates a sprawling surface that is hard to navigate. A typical well-scoped server has 3-15 tools; 40 is excessive and feels like bundling multiple servers.
The tool surface covers a broad range of domains (company profiles, financials, IDB procurement, prediction markets, subscriptions, memory), and each domain has basic operations (e.g., search/get for IDB, create/read/delete for memory). However, there are notable gaps: no update operation for any entity (e.g., no 'update_company_facts' but that's not expected), but more importantly, no tool for writing to PolyMarket or executing trades, no explicit 'delete' for subscription history, and the IDB tools lack any update or amendment handling beyond fetching notices. Also, the 'ask_pipeworx' router is a black box with no fallback to handle source failures, creating potential dead-ends.

Subtracted from raw |edge| before ranking and Kelly sizing. Polymarket has zero trading fees as of 2024 but bid/ask + thin depth typically eats 20-50bp per trade. Bump for very thin partitions; drop to 0 if you have a smarter fill model."New value: +"Assumed execution slippage in percentage points per leg (default 0.3), for bid/ask + thin depth cost that a last-trade price does not show. Subtracted from raw |edge| before ranking and Kelly sizing, ON TOP OF Polymarket's own taker fee — which is NOT zero (rate 0.04-0.07 depending on category, read off each market's own published fee schedule; see fees_pp_applied on every row and fees.ts for the full schedule). Bump slippage for very thin partitions; drop to 0 if you have a smarter fill model — the fee still applies regardless."
