Most tools occupy distinct niches (resolve_entity vs entity_profile vs company_facts vs recent_changes are well-separated by their descriptions), and the large polymarket suite is carefully differentiated by role. The main risk is the ask_pipeworx / ask_pipeworx_beta / ask_pipeworx_grounded trio, where beta is explicitly identical to the stable router today, plus ai_visibility_check vs scan_competitor_ai_presence overlap. Descriptions do a lot of work to disambiguate, so selection errors are mostly recoverable.
All names use snake_case with no camelCase or kebab-case mixing, and families share prefixes (polymarket_*, ask_pipeworx_*, archive_*, subscribe/unsubscribe/list_subscriptions). The convention is not fully uniform, though: verb-first (resolve_entity, validate_claim, compare_entities) coexists with noun-first (entity_profile, company_facts, archive_evidence) and several Censys-prefixed tools sit oddly beside pipeworx-prefixed ones. For a general structured-data gateway the lifecycle coverage is strong: entity resolution, profiles, typed facts, comparison, change feeds, validation, memory CRUD, subscription create/list/delete, and alert retrieval are all present, with graceful degradation noted throughout. Gaps are minor and mostly external (Censys tools require a BYO key, PatentsView sunset, court calendar always empty) rather than missing tool classes.
