# crypto-market-data-mcp

Live crypto market data and Hyperliquid wallet reports as MCP tools for Claude, Cursor, Codex, VS Code and any MCP
client. Your agent pays per call, in USDC on Base, from its own wallet (x402). There is no account, no API key and no
subscription, and a call that fails is never charged.

Data refreshes every minute from 24/7 monitoring of Binance spot and futures, Hyperliquid and 31 news sources.

Add it as a custom connector or remote server in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client. `prices_free`,
`sentiment_free` and `service_info` are free. The other tools are paid per call with x402 over MCP, and clients built
with [`@x402/mcp`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@x402/mcp) pay automatically.

## Install

Claude Desktop, one click: download

and open it. The wallet key is optional and is stored in your system keychain.

`X402_PRIVATE_KEY` is the key of a wallet that holds a little USDC on Base. No ETH is needed, because payments are
gasless. Use a dedicated wallet with a small balance.

## Spending limits

- `X402_MAX_PER_CALL_USD` (default `0.02`, the price of a watch): no single payment above this.
- `X402_MAX_TOTAL_USD` (default `1.00`): no more payments after this much in a session.

Without a key, `prices` and `sentiment` work free, with data refreshed every 15 minutes. `service_info` works too,
and the other tools explain how to pay.
