Turn any folder of Markdown agent skills into a local MCP server for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients.

🎯 Why?

GitHub trending is full of agent skills, prompt packs, and MCP SDKs, but there is no zero-config bridge that makes a plain folder of Markdown skills instantly consumable by MCP clients. Developers currently copy/paste skills into prompts or write bespoke servers. skills2mcp fills that gap by scanning Markdown files and exposing them as MCP tools, prompts, and resources.

Target audience: AI developers and coding-agent power users who maintain skill libraries, prompt packs, or runbooks and want them usable by MCP-compatible assistants without building a custom server.
