Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| MCP_PATH | No | The HTTP path on which the Streamable HTTP MCP server is served. The path is preserved as-is; no /mcp suffix is appended. Defaults to /deepseek. | /deepseek |
| MCP_TOKENS | No | The per-profile MCP bearer tokens. Each profile needs its own independent random token of at least 32 ASCII characters (recommended: URL-safe token from at least 32 random bytes). Duplicate or short tokens cause startup to be rejected. | |
| MCP_TOKENS_FILE | No | Path to a JSON file containing the per-profile MCP bearer tokens (e.g. secrets/mcp_tokens.json). File configuration takes priority. Each profile needs its own independent random token of at least 32 ASCII characters (recommended: URL-safe token from at least 32 random bytes). Duplicate or short tokens cause startup to be rejected. | |
| DEEPSEEK_API_KEY | No | The DeepSeek API key. Secrets are injected only at runtime, either by file mount or environment variable; file configuration takes priority. Do not reuse the DeepSeek API key as an MCP token. | |
| DEEPSEEK_API_KEY_FILE | No | Path to a file containing the DeepSeek API key. Secrets are injected only at runtime, either by file mount or environment variable; file configuration takes priority. The container UID/GID 65532 must be able to read the secret file. Empty configuration rejects startup. |
