A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI agents (Claude, GPT, etc.) manage Shopify stores. Products, orders, inventory, customers, and analytics — all through natural language.

What It Does

Connect your Shopify store to Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible AI tool and manage your store with natural language:

Quick Start

1. Get Your Shopify Access Token

Go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Apps and sales channels > Develop apps > Create an app > Configure Admin API scopes.

Required scopes:

read_products, write_products
read_orders
read_inventory, write_inventory
read_customers

2. Install

npm install -g @xmqywxkris/shopify-store-mcp

Or use directly with npx:

npx @xmqywxkris/shopify-store-mcp

3. Configure with Claude Desktop

Add to your claude_desktop_config.json:

Configuration

`SHOPIFY_STORE_DOMAIN`	Yes	Your store domain (e.g., `mystore.myshopify.com`)
`SHOPIFY_ACCESS_TOKEN`	Yes	Admin API access token
`SHOPIFY_API_VERSION`	No	API version (default: `2025-01`)

Cursor Plugin

Install directly in Cursor IDE:

Open Cursor → Settings → Plugins

Click Install
Add your Shopify credentials in the MCP server settings
