Tools
Functions exposed to the LLM to take actions
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| list_marketsC | Markets in the current publish, with each one's data date, status and published features. |
| list_screensA | Preset screens (Minervini, CANSLIM, VCP, chart patterns, momentum...) with their exact rules. Pass a screen's id to run_screen. |
| run_screenA | Run a preset screen and/or custom filters over a market's full daily scan (every listed stock). A preset matches exactly the stocks the project's website shows for it. Filters are combined with AND, including with the preset. |
| get_stockA | Everything the daily scan knows about one stock: RS ratings, stage, scores, growth, group rank, setup/pattern fields, and which preset screens it currently passes. |
| market_overviewA | Market health in one call: exposure score and stance (distribution days, follow-through day, trend), StockBee-style breadth (4% movers, 5/10-day ratios, T2108, 52-week highs/lows), key index/asset moves, and the strongest industry groups. |
| group_rankingsB | IBD-style industry group rankings by relative strength, with 1W/1M/3M/6M rank changes and this week's biggest movers. Pass a group name for its rank history and strongest stocks. |

TDQS
Scored across 6 tools
Each tool targets a clearly distinct resource: market-level health (market_overview), stock screening (run_screen), single-stock detail (get_stock), group rankings (group_rankings), and two metadata enumerators. The list_screens/run_screen relationship is explicitly documented (pass the screen id to run_screen), preventing confusion.
All names use snake_case and are highly readable. get_stock, run_screen, list_markets, and list_screens follow a verb_noun pattern, while market_overview and group_rankings are noun phrases, a minor deviation but internally consistent.
Six tools is well-scoped for a stock screening server, with each tool earning its place across market, screen, stock, group, and metadata layers. No redundancy or bloat.
The surface covers the core workflow well: discover markets and screens, run screens, inspect individual stocks, and view market/group context. Minor gaps exist (no watchlist or portfolio tracking, no historical time-series beyond rank changes), but core screening needs are covered.
