Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| SCOPE_TTL | No | How often in seconds the allowed album scope cache refreshes. Default is 300. | |
| IMMICH_URL | Yes | The URL of the Immich server, e.g. http://immich_server:2283 for Docker networking or http://192.168.0.43:2283 for a LAN address. | |
| IMAGE_LINK_TTL | No | Time-to-live in seconds for signed image links. Default is 86400 (24 hours). | |
| IMMICH_API_KEY | Yes | Immich API key with read access to assets, albums, people, and search. | |
| MCP_PUBLIC_URL | No | Public URL of this server, needed for get_image_link to build URLs. Example: https://immich-mcp.yourdomain.com | |
| MAX_IMAGE_BYTES | No | Maximum size in bytes for inline images returned by get_image. Suggests a smaller size if exceeded. | |
| MCP_BEARER_TOKEN | Yes | Bearer token used to authenticate requests to this MCP server. Generate with 'openssl rand -hex 32'. | |
| ALLOWED_ALBUM_IDS | No | Comma-separated list of album UUIDs to restrict access to. If empty, exposes everything the API key can see. |
