Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| OPENROUTER_API_KEY | No | Used by demo/buyer.py to drive the tool surface with a real LLM. Without it, everything else runs; only that script needs it. | |
| VOLTLINE_AGENT_KEY | No | The same secret for Voltline. Without it, that shop answers 401 to everything. | |
| NORTHWIND_AGENT_KEY | No | The shared secret Northwind authenticates the Layer with (SPEC.md §2.5). Without it, that shop answers 401 to everything, so search and orders skip it. | |
| RAZORPAY_KEY_SECRET | No | The other half of the Razorpay credential. Without it, same behavior as missing RAZORPAY_KEY_ID. |
