Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

VAWS_HOST_QUEUE_MODULEYesAbsolute path to the host NPU queue coordination module (e.g. vaws_npu_coordination.py), a stdlib-only module exposing handle_request(request) and CoordinationError. Provides the device authority. The manager refuses to start when this cannot be resolved. Alternative to --host-queue-module.
VAWS_MACHINE_INVENTORYNoAbsolute path to the machine inventory JSON used by the shared-inventory loader. Alternative to --machine-inventory.
VAWS_AGENT_SESSIONS_DIRNoDirectory for the local task registry (agent sessions). Defaults to this checkout's primary worktree under .vaws-local/agent-sessions when unset. Clients that must share one task identity have to name the same directory.
VAWS_PARITY_WORKSPACE_ROOTNoOptional workspace root for the parity script.
