Deliver a draft

growwer_deliver_seller_order_draft
DestructiveIdempotent

Deliver a seller's ready post-order draft from a file uploaded with growwer_upload_file, submitting it for the specified order and consuming the upload.

Instructions

Use this when a seller who writes the draft of a post order has it ready: delivers it from a file uploaded with growwer_upload_file.

Input Schema

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
idYes
fileIdYesA file you uploaded with POST /files and have not used yet. It must be an odt, doc, docx or txt file of up to 8 MB. It is used up once the draft is delivered.
requestIdYesRequired. A new UUID for each distinct write (8 to 128 letters, digits, ".", "_", ":" or "-"). Calling the tool again with the same requestId and arguments returns the first result without writing twice; send a new one for a new write.

TDQS

A3.6/5.0
Behavior3/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

The annotations already disclose that this is a destructive, non-read-only, idempotent operation. The description adds the useful prerequisite that the file must come from growwer_upload_file, but it does not describe delivery consequences or what happens to the draft after submission; the file-consumption detail lives in the schema rather than the description.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The description is a single concise sentence that front-loads the usage condition. The phrasing is slightly awkward, but it contains no wasted text.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness3/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a destructive write operation with three required parameters and no output schema, the description covers the trigger and file prerequisite but leaves gaps around the id parameter, post-delivery state, and expected outcome. It is adequate but not complete.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 67%, with detailed descriptions for fileId and requestId, so the schema carries most parameter meaning. The description only references the uploaded file and does not clarify the undocumented id parameter or add parameter semantics beyond the schema.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description states a specific action and resource: delivering a seller order draft from a file uploaded via growwer_upload_file. It is distinguishable from non-draft delivery tools by the word "draft" and the file prerequisite, though it does not explicitly contrast itself with sibling tools such as growwer_deliver_seller_order_update.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

The description gives a clear trigger condition: use it when a seller who writes the draft of a post order has it ready. It does not explain when not to use it or name alternatives, but the intended usage context is explicit.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
