Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| DATABASE_URL | Yes | Database connection string. For Prisma-supported databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQLite, CockroachDB) use the standard connection string. For ClickHouse, use an http://host:8123 URL. | |
| VALV_EXCLUDE | No | Comma-separated list of tables to exclude (optional). | |
| VALV_DATABASE | No | Database name, required when using ClickHouse. | |
| VALV_POLICY_FILE | No | Path to a policy file for fine-grained access control (optional). |
