OpenGym Coach for ChatGPT Mobile

Mobile adaptation of openGym for the ChatGPT Sites runtime. It lets you plan routines, run guided sessions, edit history, log body weight, view statistics, and connect ChatGPT through an authenticated remote MCP server.

Features

  • Routines, weekly template, and single-day changes.

  • Guided sessions with weight and rep preload.

  • Rep-based or time-based exercises.

  • Editable history and supposed skipped.

  • Estimated 1RM, muscle volume, and body weight.

  • D1 persistence per user with optimistic concurrency control.

  • OAuth 2.0/Auth0 and gym:read / gym:write permissions.

  • MCP Streamable HTTP at /mcp/ with read and write tools.

  • A deterministic Gym Coach importer that preserves unknown exercises.

Related MCP server: wger MCP Server

Configuration

The app uses the runtime variables documented in .env.example. In production, the AUTH0_AUDIENCE must be exactly the MCP URL ending in /mcp/; the Auth0 audience, the OAuth resource parameter, and the protected resource metadata must match literally.

Development

npm install
npm test
npm run typecheck
npm run build

Related MCP Connectors

  • Manage fitness coaching clients, workouts, programs, chats and funnels from your assistant.

  • Talk to your own gym log. Reps is a free workout tracker for iPhone and Android; connect it to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client and ask about your workout history, personal records, exercise progression, weekly summaries, routines and training plan. The assistant can also save a new routine, edit one, save a whole plan, add custom exercises and exercise notes, always after you confirm in the chat. It cannot log a workout or delete your history. Requires a free Reps account created in the app; you sign in with a one-time email code.

  • Read your workouts, history, and stats; create and schedule new workouts. Writes are additive only.

  • Pace is a remote MCP server that exposes wearable and fitness data to Claude via the Model Context Protocol. It connects to Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Polar, Fitbit and 20+ devices and provides 15 tools for querying sleep, activity, recovery, and training data. Hosted on Google Cloud Run, OAuth 2.1 authentication, Streamable HTTP transport. Instructions: First you need to create an account at: https://pacetraining.co and connect your wearables. After that you can connect the remote Server via Custom Connector in Claude and OAuth 2.1 Flow startet.
