Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| PS_BASE_URL | Yes | Base URL of the PowerSchool server, e.g. https://ps.yourdistrict.org. Required. | |
| PS_CACHE_SEC | No | Cache duration in seconds. | 300 |
| PS_KEEPALIVE_MIN | No | Minutes between keep-alive requests. Set to 0 to disable keep-alive. | 10 |
| PS_DEFAULT_STUDENT | No | Default student name or index to use when a tool does not specify one. Defaults to the student PowerSchool is currently showing. | |
| SESSION_PUSH_SECRET | No | Secret required for posting a session to the server via the X-Session-Secret header. Required for HTTP mode, at least 24 characters, and different from MCP_SECRET. |
