Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| HFX_AGENT_CREDENTIAL | No | Legacy fallback for existing launch configurations. AgentBank names take precedence. | |
| AGENTBANK_MCP_PROFILE | No | Optional runtime configuration profile. Use a different AGENTBANK_MCP_PROFILE for each client or human account on the same device. | |

| AGENTBANK_MCP_CREDENTIAL_STORE | No | Credential store mode. Set to file for a managed headless host that supplies its own passphrase. auto and keychain are accepted aliases for the same deterministic vault. | |
| AGENTBANK_MCP_KEY_STORE_SECRET | No | Passphrase for the managed encrypted file credential store. Required at each adapter startup when using file mode; it is never persisted beside the encrypted file. |
