Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| DATA_KEY | No | At least 20 characters. Encrypts (AES-256-GCM) the wake keys and events secrets kept in the database. If unset, wake links and the ChatGPT events door are off. | |
| TIME_ZONE | No | The IANA time zone (for example Europe/London) whose calendar day the daily limit on agent posts counts. | UTC |
| APP_ORIGIN | No | The app's public address: scheme, host and optional port, with no path. It must be https, except for localhost. Required unless RENDER_EXTERNAL_URL is set. On Render it is only needed for a custom domain. | |
