Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| JARVIS_OBSIDIAN_PATH | No | Path to an alternative Obsidian vault. JARVIS reads `.obsidian-wiki` by default; set this to use another vault. | |
| JARVIS_DIAGNOSTICS_PATH | No | Path to override the diagnostics log location. By default, JARVIS writes its UTF-8 diagnostics log to the active workspace root (log.txt). The diagnostics path can be overridden with this environment variable for isolated/test runtimes. | |
| JARVIS_TUNNEL_CLIENT_PATH | No | Path to the tunnel client executable. When configured, the tunnel client is resolved from this path; otherwise the packaged/default tunnel-client location is used. | |
| JARVIS_AGENT_HARNESS_TOOLS | No | Set to '1' to opt-in the Agent Harness tools (`jarvis_agent_run_create`, `jarvis_agent_run_status`, `jarvis_agent_run_transition`, `jarvis_agent_run_checkpoint`, and `jarvis_agent_run_control`). By default these five tools are not advertised to keep the MCP catalog byte-stable. |
