Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| TOOLS_PORT | No | Custom port for the MCP tool server. | |
| REGISTRY_MODE | No | Registry mode: 'onchain' to use the actual on-chain registry, or 'demo' (default). Set via `.env` file. | demo |
| TOOL_AUTH_TOKEN | No | Shared authentication token used between the API and MCP tool servers. Must be set when running services separately via `dev:*` commands. | |
| TOOL_SERVER_URL | No | Base URL of the MCP server that the API connects to. | |
| REGISTRY_ADDRESS | No | Address of the deployed registry contract (required when connecting to a testnet with REGISTRY_MODE=onchain). |
