Suggest brand system

suggest_brand_system
Read-onlyIdempotent

Generate a readable brand system from a primary color and mood: palette contrast, font pair, type scale, radius, tempo, and motion for creating branded decks.

Instructions

Turns a primary color and a mood into a coherent, readable brand system: palette with verified contrast, a font pair, type scale, corner radius, tempo and a starting motion intensity. Returns brand_kit (pass to create_brand_kit with a name and logos) and design and motion (pass to create_deck). Every change to your colors is listed in adjustments.

TDQS

A4.3/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare readOnlyHint=true, idempotentHint=true and openWorldHint=false, so safety and determinism are covered. The description adds value beyond that by naming the return payloads (brand_kit, design, motion) and the adjustments ledger listing every color change, which is real behavioral context.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness5/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Two sentences, front-loaded with the transformation, followed by the output/composability contract. The internal enumeration is dense but each listed field corresponds to an actual returned artifact, so nothing is padding.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

No output schema exists, so the description carries the return-value burden and does so by naming brand_kit, design/motion, and adjustments. Combined with the annotation safety profile and full schema coverage, an agent has everything needed to call and chain the tool.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100% and the enum descriptions for mood are unusually detailed, so the schema does the heavy lifting. The description only restates 'a primary color and a mood', adding no syntax or format detail beyond what the schema already documents. Baseline 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a concrete verb+resource and enumerates the exact artifact produced (palette with verified contrast, font pair, type scale, corner radius, tempo, motion intensity). It naturally separates itself from siblings like extract_brand_colors and get_design_guide by describing a generation step whose outputs feed create_brand_kit and create_deck.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Explicitly tells the agent what to do with the result: 'pass to create_brand_kit with a name and logos' and 'pass to create_deck', which is strong downstream routing. It does not state when to avoid this tool or contrast it against extract_brand_colors/get_design_guide, so no explicit exclusions.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
