Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| EARSHOT_SOURCES | No | Comma-separated list of sources to use (e.g., 'hn,bluesky'). Defaults to all available sources. | |
| EARSHOT_SE_SITES | No | Comma-separated list of Stack Exchange sites to monitor. | |
| ANTHROPIC_API_KEY | No | Your Anthropic API key. Used for real intent scoring and AI-powered answers. Optional; a heuristic runs without it. | |
| EARSHOT_MASTODON_HOSTS | No | Comma-separated list of Mastodon instances to monitor. | |
| EARSHOT_DISCOURSE_HOSTS | No | Comma-separated list of Discourse forum hosts to monitor. |
