Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| PROMETHEUS_PASSWORD | No | Password for basic authentication (optional). | |
| PROMETHEUS_USERNAME | No | Username for basic authentication (optional). | |
| PROMETHEUS_MCP_BIND_HOST | No | Bind host for non-stdio transports (optional, defaults to 127.0.0.1). | 127.0.0.1 |
| PROMETHEUS_MCP_BIND_PORT | No | Bind port for non-stdio transports (optional, defaults to 8080). | 8080 |
