Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| PERCHANCE_API_KEY | Yes | The API key (32+ characters) that protects both the MCP and OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Setting it also automatically disables the MCP SDK's DNS rebinding / Host header check. | |
| PERCHANCE_GALLERY_NAME | No | Set to save generated images to your perchance gallery and get permanent CDN links. Blank = skip. | |
| PERCHANCE_DISABLE_DNS_REBINDING_PROTECTION | No | Set to 1 to disable the MCP SDK's DNS rebinding / Host header check when you cannot know the URL in advance. (The server also turns this check off automatically whenever an API key is configured.) |
