Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| PORT | No | Port for the Streamable HTTP transport; when set, the server automatically starts in HTTP mode. | |
| LOG_LEVEL | No | Logging level (e.g., silent). | |
| MCP_DB_CONFIG | No | The entire server configuration as YAML or JSON, used instead of a config file. | |
| MCP_DB_HTTP_API_KEY | No | API key required for the HTTP endpoint (set via --api-key-env). |
