Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| CAMOFOX_API_KEY | No | API key for outbound browser auth, needed when the browser server enforces authentication (the same CAMOFOX_API_KEY must be set on both sides). Leave unset when the browser server runs with CAMOFOX_AUTH_MODE=disabled. | |
| CAMOFOX_VIEWPORT | No | Default new-tab viewport size in WIDTHxHEIGHT form, e.g. "1366x768" (also available as the --viewport CLI option). Supported width range 320..3840 and height range 240..2160. | |
| CAMOFOX_HTTP_HOST | No | Host to bind the HTTP transport to, e.g. "0.0.0.0". | |
| CAMOFOX_TRANSPORT | No | Transport mode for the MCP server. Set to "http" to run in HTTP mode for remote MCP clients such as OpenClaw; otherwise standard stdio is used. | |
| CAMOFOX_HTTP_API_KEY | No | Bearer token required from inbound HTTP MCP clients when HTTP transport is exposed beyond loopback. Use at least 32 random characters. Clients must send it as an Authorization: Bearer token. |
