outris-mcp

outris-mcp

MCP (Model Context Protocol) client for the Outris API Orchestrator. Query any API with natural language via Claude Desktop.

What is this?

This package connects Claude Desktop to the Outris API Orchestrator, enabling you to:

  • Query any ingested API with natural language

  • Search the API catalog to discover available endpoints

  • Verify identities using multiple data sources

  • Compare vendors for cost, latency, and accuracy

Related MCP server: claude-aws-mcp

Quick Start

1. Get API Key

Get your API key at outris.com (coming soon).

For development, use: otr_dev_test_key_for_local_development

2. Configure Claude Desktop

Add to your Claude Desktop configuration:

macOS/Linux: ~/.config/claude/claude_desktop_config.json
Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "outris": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "outris-mcp"],
      "env": {
        "OUTRIS_API_KEY": "otr_your_api_key_here"
      }
    }
  }
}

3. Restart Claude Desktop

The MCP server will start automatically. Try asking Claude:

  • "Check if test@example.com has been in data breaches"

  • "Get phone social details for 919876543210"

  • "What APIs are available for email verification?"

  • "Compare vendors for phone lookup"

How It Works

Claude Desktop → outris-mcp → Outris Backend → Your APIs

This package is a thin client that:

  1. Implements the MCP protocol

  2. Forwards tool calls to the Outris backend

  3. Returns results to Claude

All the intelligence (intent resolution, credential management, API execution) runs server-side.
