Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| JEV_BROWSER_LOG | No | Set to 1 to print per-round decisions to stderr. | |
| TYPESAFE_API_KEY | Yes | Your TypeSafe System One API key. Used to call the TypeSafe System One API (api.typesafe.ai) for deciding each action. The MCP server reads it from its environment, or from the .env of a source checkout, but never from the .env of the directory it was started in. | |
| JEV_BROWSER_HEADED | No | Set to 1 to show the browser window (headed mode) so you can watch it work. Default is off (headless). | |
| JEV_BROWSER_PROFILE | No | A persistent profile directory, e.g. /dir, so logins survive restarts. | |
| JEV_BROWSER_NO_INSTALL | No | Set to 1 to turn off the automatic Chromium download for Playwright on first use. |
