Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| DB_PATH | Yes | SQLite file path or :memory: (transient) | |
| MCP_PORT | No | TCP port the server listens on (default random port) | |
| MPDS_ENV | No | Set to 'production' to enforce MCP_SECRET check | |
| MCP_SECRET | Yes | Bearer token — every /api/* request must carry it. Required in production. |
