Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| AGENTS_MAIL_JEV_KEY | No | Your TypeSafe API key, when JEV is on. | |
| AGENTS_MAIL_WAIT_MAX | No | Longest wait in seconds, hard capped at 240 to stay under MCP client timeouts. Default is 120. | |
| AGENTS_MAIL_READ_TOKEN | No | Optional token that can only list, read, wait and download. Empty turns it off; otherwise 32+ characters, different from AGENTS_MAIL_TOKEN. | |
| AGENTS_MAIL_INBOUND_LIMIT | No | Most received emails kept from the last 24 hours; more are rejected until the count drops. 0 turns it off. Default is 1000. | |
| AGENTS_MAIL_WAIT_INTERVAL | No | Seconds between checks while waiting. Default is 3. | |
| AGENTS_MAIL_RETENTION_DAYS | No | Deletes mail older than this many days, checked every hour (up to 1,000 emails per run). Default is 0 (keep all). |
